Who we are

This policy covers bmistudios.com, operated by BMI Studios ("BMI Studios," "we," "us"), 6543 Las Vegas Blvd. STE 200, Las Vegas, NV 89119. Questions about this policy or your information go to hello@bmistudios.com.

It applies to information collected through this website. Work we do for clients is governed by the agreement we sign with that client, not by this policy.

Information we collect

Information you give us

• Contact form. Your name, email address, an optional website link and your message.
• Newsletter signup. Your email address and your subscription status.
• Email. Anything you include when you write to us directly.

Information collected automatically

• Usage and device data. Pages viewed, referring page, approximate location derived from your IP address, browser and device type, and similar analytics data, collected through Google Analytics.
• Server and security data. Our hosting and media delivery providers process your IP address and request details to serve the site. We also use IP addresses briefly to limit repeated form submissions and block abuse.
• Cookies and similar technologies. See the cookies section below.

How we use it

• To reply to your inquiry and discuss a potential project.
• To send the updates you subscribed to. Every update lets you unsubscribe.
• To understand how the site is used and improve it.
• To keep the site secure, prevent spam and abuse, and fix problems.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to measure visits and how people move through the site. We may also use advertising measurement tools, such as the Meta Pixel, to understand whether our marketing reaches the right people. These tools are run by their providers under their own privacy policies.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on. The site still works with cookies blocked.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers that run parts of the site for us, including website hosting, media delivery (Cloudinary), email delivery (SendGrid), analytics (Google) and our internal business software (Microsoft). They may use the information only to provide their service to us.
• Legal and safety recipients when the law requires it, or when needed to protect our rights, our users or the public.
• A successor business if BMI Studios is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply to information already collected.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry records for as long as we need them to respond and to maintain a record of our business conversations, and newsletter records until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Analytics data is retained according to our analytics settings. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from updates at any time. You can also ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it by emailing hello@bmistudios.com. Depending on where you live, including in some US states, the UK and the European Economic Area, you may have additional rights, such as objecting to certain processing or receiving a copy of your data. We will respond within the time the applicable law requires, and we will not treat you differently for making a request. We may need to verify your identity first.

International visitors

We are based in the United States and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries, where data protection laws may differ from those where you live. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections to this site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Material changes will be noted on this page.
